Sure picking the right keyword is VERY important. I mean you don’t want to be writing about something NO ONE is interested in. I mean that’s OK if you’re a professor writing a tome meant to gather dust in the stacks of university libraries.

But if you want to build a network marketing business online your SEO copywriting needs to take you where the people go. And that means choosing the keywords everyone are looking for. It’s like the difference between trying to sell news papers in the middle of the desert or on a New Your City street corner.

However... Keywords alone are not enough. Volume is important too.

Building a critical mass of content is crucial to your success online. It’s not enough to pick “The” perfect keyword and write “The” perfect article. Or even two or three “perfect” articles.

You need a massive body of work before the search engines (and people) start taking notice.

Building your web of content is like kids rolling a snowball down a hill. At first the snowball is tiny and just lays there unless someone gives it a push. Eventually the mass of the ball is so great it begins to roll on its own. Gathering speed and size by itself. Mass and velocity keep it rolling down the hill. The kids no longer have to push it… in fact they may have to run fast just to keep up with it…LOL

This is exactly what building an MLM lead list online is like.

At first you only have a few bits of content out there. A few people find them and maybe even click on the links you’ve included but the results aren’t exactly what you’d been looking for.

You think… where is the flood of people?

The trick is to keep writing more and more content. As you write link your new work to your older work. Then when folks find one of your articles they’ll be lead to another one… and so on. Eventually you’ll have built a large “web” of content gathering folks in and steering them to your lead capture pages.

You will in fact have built yourself an opt in lead generation machine.

Even if each page is found by only 10 people a week and only 2% of those people qualify themselves in some way. If you’ve got 100 pages of content out there.

That’s 20 HIGHLY qualified leads a week!

And these leads didn’t cost you $5 each only to learn when you call them they don’t remember requesting any business information.

These are the best MLM leads because they “Found YOU”! They liked you and what you had to say enough to reach out and ask for more information. To involve themselves in what you are doing. That’s an opt in MLM lead generation machine if ever I saw one!

What could you do with 20 highly motivated folks contacting you each week for more information about your business?

So yes… pick good keywords. One’s folks are looking for but not too many people are already writing about. But don’t get too hung up on it. Just get writing and keep writing. Build your content base until it begins to roll on its own.
